The goal of our outdoor program is to help youth develop interpersonal and leadership skills, a sense of purpose and self-esteem, and respect for the environment.
When children go to camp, everyday distractions such as television, advertising, and computers disappear. They don’t have to dress for style, just warmth. They don’t worry about makeup or hairstyle. They can open their minds to adventure.
In a supportive, natural environment, children can listen, talk, relax and reflect. They enjoy hiking, boating and other activities that require cooperation and provide opportunities to make choices and take responsibility.
At camp, children live peacefully, creatively and in a community that is in harmony with the environment.
Children learn valuable skills that will help children reach their potential and become responsible teenagers and adults.
