Students attend with their class and teachers from five schools districts in Multnomah County including Portland, Gresham, Reynolds, and Centennial.
This year the camp runs the week of May 21, 2001. Over 150 students from nine schools in the Portland Metropolitan Area will come to Blue Lake Park in Troutdale with their teachers to learn about the world “Under the Sea.” Activities will include visiting the belly of a whale, investigating the effects of oil spills and exploring the size and shape of the Giant Octopus.
